The Morgenbachtal is on the left side of the Rhine
near Bingen. It is the most important climbing area
in Rhine-Main area. There are over 100 climbings routes between 2+ to 8. You
reach it via Trechtinghausen. In the middle of the
village is a descending road with a waymark Gerhardshof.
After a few 100m the road ends and a dirt road leads into the forest. Be aware
of the grooves and digs on the dirt road. You'll reach a car park. At its end,
a small path leads to the climbing rocks.
At the Gerhardshof is a cheap camping site (on a pasture)
and you can eat at the inn.
